Castelli Pro issue SS Base layer is what pros ask for when the regular base layers are too warm and the Core Mesh isn't quite enough, such as in Spain in February or Belgium in April.

You only need something to wick moisture away from your skin and let your racing jersey function. The 3D mesh fabric generates dead air space near to your skin, while the capillary action of the polyester transports perspiration away.
